#### :crossed\_swords: **When is the Climate Guardians Token Release?**

The token release for Climate Guardians is set to take place soon before the initial release of the game. This is expected to occur in Q1 of 2023.

#### :crossed\_swords: **Which Blockchain Network does Climate Guardians operate on?**

Climate Guardians operates on the Celo blockchain. Celo is a Layer 1 blockchain with its own ecosystem of Defi options, designed specifically to run on mobile. Celo is a proof-of-stake-based blockchain with smart contracts. The technology uses a phone number-based identity system with address-based encryption and trust-based reputation. #### :crossed\_swords: **How do we offer a blockchain game with real-world impact?**

We plan to do that by creating a Rainforest DAO Treasury with real-world value - the community will decide which rainforest projects and CO2 Tokens should be invested in.\

A decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) is an entity with no central leadership. Decisions get made from the bottom-up, governed by a community organized around a specific set of rules enforced on a blockchain.

DAOs are internet-native organizations collectively owned and managed by their members. They have built-in treasuries that are only accessible with the approval of their members. Decisions are made via proposals the group votes on during a specified period.

#### :crossed\_swords: **What is Play-To-Preserve?**

Play-To-Preserve is a new concept where players have the opportunity to contribute positively to climate change, especially to the issue of deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest.

#### :crossed\_swords: **Can I earn in the Climate Guardians project?**

Yes - it is possible to earn in the Climate Guardians game. Players will be able to earn an in-game currency which can be exchanged to a token currency. However, this is not the primary focus of gameplay. Our goal is to create real-world impact and not to be another "Play-To-Earn" on the market. We prefer to market ourselves as a "Play-To-Preserve" as that is our focus. Our focus is also directed more towards creating a fun and interactive game with our community and ensuring the game is sustainable through an appropriate business and economic model. Users can get whitelisted for the Climate Guardians NFT pre-sale by following our social media and keeping an eye out for whitelisting opportunities.
